Though I was born in the Soviet Union, we didn’t travel much when I lived there. These days, a visit to Moscow is more about seeing friends and relatives than meeting new people and visiting new places… However, we did manage to go on a couple of trips. One was to Smolensk around Christmas/New Years, and the other was to the towns of the Golden Ring and St. Petersburg in the summer. Below is a subset of the Russia photos I had time to prepare.
